Foundation Update
Thank you parents, teachers, and other Mountain View staffers for supporting the Mountain View Foundation. We have raised $25,000, which is half of our $50,000 school-year goal. The Foundation aims for at least 75 percent of our families to participate. So far, only one-fifth of the families have donated toward our much-needed Foundation. We need YOU involved, regardless of your donation. Any amount is appreciated! Please visit our website at www.mtnviewfoundation.org for more information and to print a donation form. Did you know that Cobb County does not provide funding for technology teachers? Our full-time computer lab teacher, Mrs. Newhouse, is funded entirely by the Foundation donations. If the Foundation does not meet its goal, we will cut back her hours to part time at best; and eliminate the position at worst. Nobody wants to see this happen! Please make your tax-deductible donation now, and check with your company to see if it offers a corporate match.
