Seeking Memory Book Photos
Say Cheese! The Mountain View Memory Book is online, and we want you to submit all your great pictures from events throughout the school year. Your school-related photos will be used to create the 2009-2010 Memory Book, so it’s an easy way to include photos from your class activities, of your children and their friends, and of those special times at Mountain View.
Upload your favorite shots by going to https://images.jostens.com/login and follow the prompts. You will need to enter username “400006265” followed by password “photo.” For questions, e-mail Katey Crispo at kate@crispo.net
Book Fair a Success
Special thanks to all parents, students, teachers, and volunteers who supported our Fall Scholastic Book Fair. This year’s successful event brought in more than $12,000 in books and related items. Our school library will receive a percentage of these funds to purchase new books and support the Accelerated Reader (AR) program. Thank you again!

Lion’s Den Stocks New Items
Mountain View’s school store, The Lion’s Den, is running smoothly thanks to our wonderful volunteers and loyal shoppers. New merchandise is stocked frequently to take care of all your child’s school needs. Look for fun, new merchandise in the coming weeks. Items range from jelly head and skateboard key chains to bead rings and bracelets to funny face and knitted sport bean bags. However, we are most excited about the water bottles bearing our school name and mountain lion logo! These water bottles make great birthday presents or stocking stuffers.
As the holidays approach, stop by the store to purchase uniquely designed holiday greeting cards crafted by our Art Club. Thank you to Mrs. Armstrong for her assistance in this project!
